“There is no happiness in having or in getting, but only in giving.”
Henry Drummond, Canadian poet 1851-1860
Since part of our commitment to the community is giving back, one of our goals in 2010 is to provide
more information to the community about the many ways we benefit North Vancouver in particular and
Vancouver in general. Below are some of the recent public events we’ve hosted and athletic achievements of our physiotherapists, staff, patients, and supporters.
If you are a patient, have an athletic success and would like to be included on our page, please email us at sohail@deepcovephysio.com.
Deep Cove Wellness Days
On July 10th, 2010 Amy Chu, Kelly Jones and Jill Lorimer shared a booth with the Deep Cove community for Deep Cove Wellness Days! There was a draw for $50 off a massage and a $50 gift certificate - raffled with three other prizes as well. A great day all around, for Kelly Jones, it was a great chance to get to know the community and learn and share health tips with everyone.
Paralympic Meet and Greet with Gold Medal winner Darryl Neighbour
On April 24th, 2010, we had the honour of welcoming Paralympic Gold Medal winner Darryl Neighbour, and Chief Therapist Paige Larson at our Paralympic Gold Medal Meet and Greet.
Community Feedback "Thank you so much for sending the photos of Darryl Neighbour and me. That was a fantastic day so wonderful for him to take the time to talk to everyone and so great of you to arrange this event. It was just a fantastic opportunity to be able to see and talk to an athlete in such a casual setting. It certainly made my weekend I can’t thank you enough. I look forward to reading your newsletter."
"Thanks so much for the photos. Makes for a great memory, keep this up!"
"Great Photos, it was great to share family time with a local hero, with time to talk and find out how it felt to be in The Games! Thank you!"

Thank you to everyone for making this such a great event!!!
